How do you put a wedding together in Annapolis MD when you live on Long Island and the groom's family  Michigan? Answer: Historic Inns of Annapolis. We booked the Governor Calvert House for our daughter's wedding at the annual bridal fair a year prior. Having no knowledge of the area, except it's convenient location to the Navel Academy Chapel, we were apprehensive. After tasting the food and collecting the various business cards from preferred vendors we felt more confident. The year flew and the big day arrived.

Wedding day was PERFECT. Michelle our coordinator was a doll and very easy to work with. The food was great and presentation lovely. The head waitress couldn't do enough to make sure our guests were happy as well as all the attending staff. We were fortunate enough to have most of our guests stay at the Calvert House so there were no worries about driving after the reception.

The beautiful bride and handsome groom were delighted and our guests are still thanking us for a great time!

Dear Michelle,

I wanted to tell you what a wonderful time everyone had this past Saturday, June 20th at my daughter's wedding.  Every little detail was perfect and it was all thanks to you and your wonderful staff. 

From the moment my daughter, Stephanie and her fiance, Steve made the arrangements with you last year to the final last dance on Saturday evening, it was pure perfection every step of the way.

You made it all so very easy for us to plan this very special occasion and you were gracious and empathetic and caring through the entire process.  Stephanie's dad was incredibly impressed and he is an extremely hard person to impress, so that is the ultimate compliment!  I have had so many phone calls and emails from my friends and family saying they had such a great time and how impressive the venue was as well.  From Steve on your staff  (who told me that the sun was truly going to come out in time for the wedding (which it did!!!) to your waitstaff to the valets parking the cars, everyone was extremely pleasant and helpful and went above and beyond to make this a truly memorable event. 

Again we truly couldn't have done this without you and your wonderfully delightful staff of true professionals.  We are thankful and grateful to have known you and to have had this special and heartfelt day go so smoothly and we owe it all to you and the great staff at the Governor Calvert House.

Michelle and Michelle,

I wanted to drop you a note of thanks for hosting us last week at the Maryland Inn. It was a great week of meetings and you and your staff really did an outstanding job with all our requests and arrangements.

The team really enjoyed the setting-many had never been to Annapolis before!

I was really impressed with your staff that took care of us in both our meeting room, as well as for the meals. They were ever present and always on time exactly as we laid out in the agreement.

All in all you went above and beyond for us. You also managed to provide this within our budget! This was very important and appreciated.
