This is one of the premier entertainment complexes in the country where guests can catch every kind of performance from ballet, jazz, opera, classical, and special events like the Kennedy Center Honors.
This spectacular seat of government is home to the US Congress. The Capitol is open to the public from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm Monday through Saturday. Guided tours are free but passes are required. One of the highlights is a visit to the Capitol Rotunda that is described as the “heart and soul” of the building.
