Dining > Treaty of Paris

Located inside The Maryland Inn, the four-star Treaty of Paris restaurant is one of the most celebrated dining establishments and restaurants in Annapolis. In April 2004, the Restaurant Association of Maryland inducted the Treaty of Paris into the Hospitality Hall of Honor.

Once host to Founding Fathers such as Benjamin Franklin, John Jay, and John Adams, the Treaty of Paris continues to delight guests to this day. Featuring fine cuisine made under the expert guidance of Executive Chef James Barrett, the Treaty of Paris offers only the best fresh seafood from the Chesapeake Bay and meals that benefit from Chef Barrett’s use of organic and seasonal vegetables. A native of the Annapolis area, Chef Barrett has honed his craft at some of the nation’s top resorts and restaurants. Barrett offers a fresh approach to the fine art of creating wonderful meals. Upon arriving at the Treaty of Paris, Barrett set about expanding the restaurants already impressive wine list. In addition, Barrett insists on using local organic food whenever possible to offer only the highest quality meals and desserts. No visit to the Historic Inns of Annapolis is complete without a meal at the Treaty of Paris Restaurant. Be sure to reserve your visit to experience incredible dining in a truly historic setting.
