Established in 1845, this four-year undergraduate college prepares young men and women for professional careers in the US Navy. A reflection of American history and honor, the academy has graduated more than 60,000 midshipmen from its founding, from a fleet of sail and steam-powered ships to its nuclear-powered submarines and supersonic aircraft. With a scenic location along Chesapeake Bay, the legendary Naval Academy campus, or the "Yard," covers 338 waterfront acres.

The popular Army-Navy football game is a time-honored tradition loyally followed by sports fans and the armed forces across the globe.

When does the football home season kick off?
Tailgating is a favorite pasttime of fans and alumni of USNA. Don’t miss the first game of the season when the Mids take on Delaware for their exciting home opener on September 14th.
When is homecoming?
Friends and family of the academy gather in October to take part in festive activities on campus and golf tournaments to celebrate homecoming. This year’s homecoming game is against Pittsburgh and will take place on October 26.
